Housemate wanted to share my 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment. The new building is located six blocks from Central Park, and boasts a Leed Gold Rating. Some building perks include a 24-hour concierge, laundry on each floor, courtyard and roof access, a gym, and music practice rooms. I am renting out the master bedroom, which includes a walk-in closet and a private bathrooom. The common space is ample and best shared. Each room has individual temperature control and a big north-facing window. The kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, and pantry.

I'd love to share this apartment with a housemate who loves what life and this city has to offer, and who puts thoughtfulness and laughter high on the list of living requirements. You are an employed professional, are neat, and have successfully shared an apartment with someone before.

I'm a systems manager for the public agency responsible for one of the City's largest parks, as well as a performer and musician. I have a girlfriend and a small dog (both friendly), who visit between 2-3 days a week. I own the apartment, and am committed to keeping public areas neat and clean. I'm curious, friendly, and approachable, as well as experienced in sharing this space with housemates.

Rent includes all utilities (gas, electric, and water) as well as basic cable and internet. Im requesting a $75 processing fee upon application for a credit and background check. I'm also asking for first and last month's rent, as well as a deposit of the same amount, upon signing of the lease. The lease would be for one year with an option to renew. Rent will be due on the 1st of each month.
