Looking for tenant in spacious duplex apt

We?re looking for a new tenant to move into a spacious and very quiet duplex apartment in Sugar Hill, near City College. It concerns a lease take-over starting January 20 or at your earliest convenience, until the end of February. From March 1, 2020 the tenant can sign onto the new lease themselves. The space available is a large studio-sized bedroom, with build-in closet and its own front door, in a 1100 sq ft duplex apartment. Common spaces include a big kitchen with dishwasher, a spacious and bright living room, 1.5 bathrooms, and in-unit washer and dryer. The apartment has one other full time tenant with a teenage child who lives there part-time. They?re very respectful and easy-going flat mates. The landlord is a small business man who is very responsive in terms of maintenance. The building has a part-time doorman and live-in super. The building is very quiet, and located in a wonderful historic part of Harlem. Grocery store and post office are nearby and some of Harlem's best cafes and restaurants are within walking distance (Manhattanville Coffee, The Grange, The Edge, Ponty Bistro) Closest subway lines are the A, B, C and D trains, but 1, 2 and 3 trains are within walking distance as well.

This is a clean and quiet household. Everyone contributes equally to cleaning and restocking necessities. Generally, people cook for themselves, but there is definitively room for friendly interaction and a shared glass of wine!

The prospective tenant must have a steady income, or be supported by an able guarantor. Invitations for a viewing will happen at the current tenants' discretion.
