Amazing furnished bedroom with rooftop & backyard

Amazing bedroom available in a cozy duplex apartment located just off Franklin Avenue, 4 blocks from the 2/3/4/5 Franklin Ave stop and 6 blocks from the C Franklin Ave stop. Easy access to Manhattan and close to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Brooklyn Museum, and Prospect Park.

We are two working professionals (women) in our early 30's looking for a subletter for our third bedroom. The top floor of the apartment has a large kitchen that is connected to the living room with two bay windows to the street. The top floor also has a full bathroom, and one of our bedrooms. Downstairs are two bedrooms (including the available room) and a half bath.

The available bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, and arm chair (there's some flexibility if you don't want some of the furniture in the room). It has two windows facing the street. There is shared laundry in the building basement, as well as a laundromat right across the street.

Generally, we both work during the day, chill out during the week, and go out on the weekends. We are very clean and respectful of common areas. We like to stay active (yoga, biking, etc.) and love to cook. We have family dinners a couple times a month with our friendly neighbors. The living room has a TV and entertainment system. We don't have cable but we have a Roku so you would have access to Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO Go, etc.

We have access to both an amazing backyard where we have cook-outs, outdoor movies, parties, etc. We also have access to the roof where we have a rooftop garden and honey bees (they are very friendly).

The apartment is located on a shady, tree-lined street just off Franklin Avenue which has several restaurants, bars, coffee shops, vintage clothing stores, grocery stores, etc. There is good street parking available if you have a car.

We are flexible with how long the subletter can stay - the room is open starting June 1. Looking for one month minimum. Month deposit upfront in cash required. Rent includes all utilities (wireless internet, heat, electricity).
