Furnished Room, Huge Apartment, Utilities Include

The Room: Lofted bed, aprox. 6 feet off the ground to make room for a desk, a dresser, and a clothing rack underneath. Plenty of room for storage. Additional storage available for suitcases or moving boxes if necessary (basement). Room also has a pull-out couch that comfortably sleeps a visitor or friend, as needed. Very large window that open from the top and bottom. AC/Space heater if necessary. Sheets/towels provided upon request.

The Apartment: A three bedroom that encompasses 2 stories. (Room for rent is on the first floor with kitchen, living room and full bath). The lower level has a half bath, two bedrooms and access to a huge backyard/outdoor space. Bonfires, cookouts, etc. Building is old and feels that way but it does have high ceilings and very large windows. Kitchen and living room are very large by NY city standards. We use a cleaning professional twice a month and do our part to keep it tidy and welcoming. Fully furnished = no need to bring anything in terms of furniture or cooking utensils. Everything including a vacuum cleaner we already have.

The Roomiess: A girl and a guy. Good friends. Early 30's. Employed full-time, working at least 40-hours a week in education and commercial production. Enjoy cooking, yoga, exercise, being outside, and everything NY has to offer. I'll let you learn which preferences apply to which one of us! Spend a descent amount of time out with friends but also like to hang at home from time to time for dinner and relaxation. Like to be active and chit chat, but also give each other plenty of space and peace and quiet.

Ideal Renter: Works full-time. Is NOT home constantly. Is comfortable being social but not in need of support from us. Though, we are always happy to make a new friend! Lots of success and happiness with foreign visitors! Pets are not wanted but we could make an exception under the right circumstances.

The Neighborhood: Williamsburg. Easy access to Greenpoint, Bedstuy, and Bushwick. Lots to do but not Manhattan crazy. Tons of bars, shops, restaurants, night life. Pretty docile during the week. Somehow equidistant from the Graham, Grand, and Lorimer stops of the L train (less than 10-minute walk). 15 minute walk to the G. 15 minute walk to the J, M, Z.

Time Frame/Details: Available August 1st for at least 3-4 months, possibly longer. Rent is $1300 for the room which includes utilities (wifi, electricity, etc.) No lease available at this time so we require payment on the first of the month or 30 days notice for a move-out. Couples would be $1500, but really, we'd like to rent to a discreet individual
