The rooms are large 9x10' and 10x16' so your living space alone is half of the entire floor of the building. $1100 plus utilities. The space is unfurnished (although it does currently have a queen bend and desk if you need it).

It is a uniquely quiet and private share as you have your own living room area bedroom area and a closed. 2 large north-facing windows overlooking a tree lined courtyard and huge 10+ foot ceilings.

The shared spaces are a full kitchen (with a large stove) and a full bathroom. Again, there is no shared living room or dining area so the living spaces are completely separate and autonomous. We your roommates (a married gay couple) live on the other side of the floor.
So we prefer to live with another gay person or someone who is extremely gay friendly.

The apartment is the full top floor (three flights walkup) in a charmingly rustic and un-renovated pre-war building with original design elements like pressed metal hallway walls, original raw hardwood flooring, and wall moldings. The apartment is just two streets away from the A C train Nostrand Stop (20 minutes to 14th Street on the A express). There is a huge grocery store across the street and laundry is two blocks away. Blink fitness is opening on the same block in a matter of weeks.

This apartment is peaceful and quiet (music on earphones only please), no cigarette smoking, no pets, no parties, and no soes in the common space (Japanese style to keep the floors clean).
