New tech hire looking for room
I'll be starting a job as a computer security consultant this June, and I'm looking for a private room in Brooklyn. I'm looking to move in early June, July at the latest. I'd prefer to lease for a full year, but I'm open to starting with subletting a few months before doing a year long lease (or something similar).
I'm clean (sweep/vacuum regularly, don't let the trash bags overflow, don't let the dishes pile up) and quiet (music on headphones, no blasting the TV at night, etc.). I do like to explore the city and go to bars, if you'd like to socialize. I'd probably like to have a friend or two visit on some weekends, but nothing crazy.
I'd be working full time in the city. My job also involves travel time, so I may be away for a couple of weeks every so often. I'd be moving in from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Roommate reference available upon request.
