Moving to NYC
I am planning to move to New York (anywhere in NYC) around the end of August/beginning of September. I do not have a job lined up yet, but I do have enough money saved up to pay rent for several months while I look for a job.
I will be 25 by the time I move, I'm pretty quiet, tend to keep to myself, sometimes cook and usually share when I do. I can be forgetful and this sometimes happens with chores, but I try to clean up after myself and if I do forget I will go do it if you ask me to.
I have a pet rabbit. Being a rabbit, he doesn't make much noise, and would stay in my room at all times. He has a cage, but I would prefer to let him loose in my room most of the time.
Other than space for the rabbit, I mostly just need internet access and to be in walking distance from public transportation. I would like to live somewhere with heating, air conditioning, and a washing machine, and without mice, but I've lived in places that did not meet those requirements and I have been okay.
I have a solid resume and I'm sure I will be able to get a job once I have an address; I have also previously done freelance writing and editing between jobs, and can use that to pay rent if I need to.
