Hello,
I?m a 31 year old young professional working in downtown NYC. I want to find a spot that is convenient and close to work. I love to explore and hang out most evenings around the city trying new restaurants, people watch, and shop around. (I'm a HUGE foodie). I?m originally from Seattle WA. I have two jobs (marketing and administrative assistant) and love them both. I enjoy eating, cooking, cleaning, working out, outdoors, biking/hiking/, and finding something new to do each weekend.
Living in Seattle I lived with someone (complete stranger) for three years and we are now very close. I?m responsible, respectful, and caring with anyone I live with EVEN if I don?t know them. I?m very easy going, always happy, friendly which makes it easy for anyone to get along with me.
My ?ideal roomie?
Clean, keeps the common areas/their rooms; so we don?t have friendly creatures coming around. Keeps the kitchen, stove and in the cabinets neat and organized. I would like to have my own bathroom, because I am able to keep it how I like it, but its not a NEED. I love to cook, but I clean as I cook, so I never leave a mess (my roomie shouldn't either). Someone who is respectful, responsible, and takes care of their things as well as mine. I am traveling lite and I don?t have any furniture for the common areas. I?m not looking for a BFF, but someone I can get along with and can talk to on a day to day basis about the apartment and day to day conversations. I hope we have similar wants in a roomie.
