$1650 Oct 1St Private Bedroom In Luxury High Rise

Ad ref# 100046659

Hi! We are a couple (college students) looking for a FEMALE roommate starting Oct 1st(preferably, we'll discuss pro rates). Our apartment has 2. 5 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, and is located on a very high floor in a well-known high rise in Downtown Brooklyn. Our windows have a magnificent view of Downtown Manhattan and Metrotech Center.

We are specifically looking to rent the second bedroom. . .

Monthly rent: $1650. 00
Utilities (High Speed WiFI + electricity): about $60-$70 a month
Room dimensions: 11'2" x 13'5"
Room features: full-fledged view of Downtown Manhattan, pretty nice closet
Bathroom: You would share the other bathroom with the two girls who live us, who occupy the home office and part of the living room.

Apartment features:
-W/D in unit
-fully-equipped kitchen
-huge windows
-high-quality wooden floors
-AC unit in every room

Building amenities:
-24-hour front desk (entry by beeper)
-24-hour, fully-equipped gym*
-24-hour lounge* w/ billiards table
-Bike storage
-Rentable parking space
-Huge lawn/park in the front
-Super fast elevators
*an additional $60 a month (shared among us), but we can talk about taking you out if you don't think you're gonna use them

The building is very close (5-7 minute walking distance) to these trains:
A, C, F, R (Jay St. / Metrotech) + N, R, Q, B, LIRR (DeKalb)
Borough Hall and Hoyt/ Schermerhorn are also pretty close.
Any train you take would get you to Manhattan within 5-10 minutes. Midtown is about 20-30 minutes away.

The neighborhood is becoming developed day by day, and there are many restaurants and stores accessible within a few minutes. A market next door just opened up, and Metrotech and Downtown Brooklyn have restaurants such as: Shake Shack, Chipotle Panera Bread, Five Guys, La Defense, etc. They are completely revolutionizing Fulton Mall (about a block away) and it now has an H&M, Armani Exchange, etc. Our building itself has a bar/diner downstairs called Palmers. Trader Joes and Key Food aren't very far either, and there is a larger supermarket down the block.

The apartment is called Avalon Fort Greene. I have attached a few pictures below so you can have a general gist, but if you email me I will send you more.

About us: we are very chill college seniors at NYU-Poly who will probably be very busy throughout the whole year. We are multinational (Haitian + Filipino; the other two girls are Italian and Cuban) and we have friends from everywhere. I love watching movies + tv shows/ reading books and he loves video games. We tend to be in and out of the apartment and don't really mind noise (as we could also be pretty loud). We have very weird sleeping schedules too. All in all, we're really not bothered by many things and like to mind our own business. The other two girls are post-college and are also very chill. The one that occupies the living room is also out a lot and doesn't mind the space being used at all except when she's sleeping.

If you are coming to NYC for the first time, then you're in luck. I am a tour guide and my boyfriend is a native New Yorker, so we'd have no problem showing you around.

I think that's pretty much it, message me if you are interested or have any questions. Hurry though, because this apartment will go by fast!
